  • How do I get there?
    From the Airport, take Hwy 102 to Truro (approximately 80km) Take exit to New Brunswick – Hwy 104 West Take Exit #11 to Wentworth and Tatamagouche Turn left at “T” intersection – Hwy 4 to Wentworth (approximately 30km) You will pass Ski Wentworth, Needs Store and the Elementary School; all on your right Shortly past the school, turn right onto Hwy 307 to Wallace (approximately 30km) At “T” intersection in Wallace turn left onto Hwy 6 Drive approximately 2.6 km until you see Wallace Bridge Right before the Bridge take a left on to the Kerr's Mill Rd Drive another 4.5 km to 685 Kerr's Mill Rd, You have arrived! Watch for signs guiding you to the Domes
  • What should I bring?
    Groceries! There are a few restaurants in Pugwash (20 minutes), Wallace (10 minutes) and Tatamagouche (25 minutes); however, we highly recommend bringing groceries with you. We do have fully equipped kitchens in our domes. We also recommend bringing your bathing suit, sun protection and mosquito spray if desirable. For the colder months of the year: - Bring weather appropriate clothing. - Slippers or warm socks for inside use. If you have a kayak, paddle board, ATV, snowmobile... bring it along. Wallace River is great for paddle boarding and kayaking. We are also just of the TransCanada Trail, which is great for ATV's, snowmobiles and hiking.
  • What do you supply?
    Our Kitchens are equipped with all essentials Kitchen utensils, pots and pan, glassware, plates, cutlery etc. We have an electric stove in our domes with an oven and full size kitchen fridge with a freezing compartment. Salt and Pepper BBQ Picnic table Complimentary coffee & tea (Keurig coffee maker) Private Hot tub Towels for inside shower use Towels for Hot tub use Make up remover towel Hairdryer Firewood for the stove (one box per night free of charge, additional box is $15)
  • Are you pet-friendly?
    Sadly we are not able to allow pets.
  • What is the occupancy limit per dome?
    We allow a maximum of 4 people in total. We can't make any exceptions as this is due to fire regulations. Our rates are based on double occupancy, there is an additional fee for extra people in the domes. Our domes feature one King and two Twin beds.
  • Are children allowed?
    Of course! Please note that the maximum occupancy is 4 in total, which includes children. Our domes offer a King bed and two Twin beds in a mezzanine. Please note that the mezzanine is NOT suitable for all ages, as it is only accessible by a ladder.
  • Is it warm enough in the winter?
    We have wood-burning fireplaces in our domes and electric heater in the bathroom. We also have heat pumps in every dome. However it is a little harder to heat, bringing something warm to wear during those chilly winter nights, is a good idea.
  • What is the check-in/out time?
    Our check-in time is 4 pm and our check-out time is 11.30am. If you require an early check-in/or late check-out; please check with us in advance. We will always do our very best to accommodate your requests; however, it may not always be possible.
  • Can we visit the animals while staying there?
    Our animals are always happy to have visitors. Feel free to follow the sign pointing you in the right direction to visit our animals. Please remain outside the fenced area. If you like to have close up contact with our goats of ponies, send us a message.
  • Do you have a TV in your domes?
    We do have smart TV's in our domes. You can login with your Netflix account, Disney, etc. There is no cable TV!
  • Do you have Wi-Fi?
    We are offering complimentary Starlink internet for all of your favorite TV shows and movies.
  • Is there water access?
    Although we are located right on Wallace River, we do not yet have a secure access to the river. If you do go down to the river bank, it is entirely on your own risk. There is safe river access a minute drive from our property.
  • Hot tub care!
    We clean the filter and balance the chemicals after every guest. We use water test strip to balance the chemicals. We change the water more frequently than required. We ask our guests: - shower before using the hot tub - close the lid after each use - do not change any display settings - never turn off the hot tub - do not use any beverages in a glass while using the hot tub - for the comfort of all guest do not change the temperature below 95F
  • What are the cleaning standards?
    We take great pride in providing clean accommodation. Our cleaning standards are very high. We mainly use white linen. Our beds are made with a fitted sheet and a duvet cover. (We do not have top sheets) All our linen/towels/blankets are getting washed after every guest.
  • What is the privacy policy?
    Our company is hosted on the platform. provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through’s data storage, databases and the general applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. All direct payment gateways offered by and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile. We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes: 1.) To provide and operate the Services; 2.) To provide our Users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support; 3.) To be able to contact our Visitors and Users with general or personalized service-related notices and promotional messages; 4.) To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services; 5.) To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.   • What is your reservation policy?
    Thank you for choosing Wallace River Ranch. Kindly review our Reservation Policy before booking: OCCUPANCY: Maximum Adult occupancy per dome is 4! Overall maximum occupancy is 4 (2 Adults and 2 kids from the age 0 - 16). Our rates are based on double occupancy; additional fees apply for children and extra adults. BOOKING: The reservation is confirmed once your deposit is paid via credit card. We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX. PETS: At this time we are unable to allow pets. CHECK IN/OUT POLICY: Once arrived for your stay you are fully responsible, even if you decide to leave early. No refunds. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIME: We ask that your respect our check in and check out time. If you do have an early check-in request; we will try our very best, but are unable to guarantee. SMOKING: Absolutely no smoking in our domes. Smoking outside with a minimum of 4m away from the domes. Minimum smoking fine is $1000 cad in our of our domes. NOISE CURFEW: 10 PM to 8 AM to ensure comfort for all we ask our guests to be respectful of others and adhere the quiet hours. Absolutely no parties! TV: We do have a smart TV in each dome. You can access your favorite streaming account. We DO NOT have cable TV. WI-FI: We offer complimentary Starlink WI-FI! CANCELLATION: At the time of booking, we will process 20% of your stay. You may cancel or change your reservation up until 14 days prior to your arrival date with only a $15 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 14 days, will result in your deposit being non-refundable. Cancellations within 7 days will result in the entire stay not being refundable. On or after the day of your arrival, any date changes or cancellation to the number of room nights for all or part of your stay will result in the processing of the full value of your stay that you originally reserved. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for unexpected cancellations. TAX RATE: The Nova Scotia Tax Rate is 15% STAYOVER SERVICE: We do not offer daily cleaning service, however if you require extra towels during your stay we will be happy to provide them. ADDITOINAL NOTES: Guests will be charged the full replacement cost for any damage or loss of Wallace River Ranch property, both inside and outside of the dome should they be reasonably responsible for said damage or loss. Our domes are not wheelchair accessible. For the enjoyment of guests, Wallace River Ranch has provided a private hot tub. Wallace River Ranch advises against the use of the hot tub by pregnant women, people under the influence of any drugs or alcohol, and those who have health conditions that may put them at a greater risk of injury. Water from the hot tub may cause surfaces to be slippery and extra caution should be taken when wet. By continuing your booking with Wallace River Ranch you are releasing owner, management, and staff of any and all liability associated with irresponsible use of amenities provided including, but not limited to, the mezzanine and the hot tub. Use of Wallace River Ranch property, amenities and grounds is entirely at your own risk. Domes are made of heavy vinyl and can be punctured, any damage incurred during your stay will result in a damage fee to be determined by the replacement cost of vinyl through manufacturer.

    Wallace River Ranch is perfect for you if: - You like a quiet getaway with your family, or friends. - You like the idea of camping, but appreciate certain luxury. - You like the feeling of being out in nature, with minimal amount of people around you. - You enjoy wondering through the woods. - You enjoy activities, such as going to the beach, exploring, visiting farmers markets, going for a hike or walk, sit around a fire with good laughs and conversations, appreciate what the outdoors has to offer. Consider staying elsewhere if: - You want to party. - You can't live without cable TV. - Your car can't get dirty from the dusty gravel road. - You can't live without fast food. - You don't like wildlife including bugs. - Or you are in generally obnoxious person who is impossible to please.
  • Lost and Found
    Please note that any food or drinks left behind, will not be kept. Any other items will be kept for 3 months. Guests will be responsible for the shipping cost for items to be shipped. We do not contact guests for lost items.
